Gloomy Sunday-Lagu Pembawa Kematian

Pada tahun 1936,terdapat kasus bunuh diri di Hungaria.Dalam surat kematiannya,ia mengutip salah satu lirik dari lagu-lagu yang populer pada saat itu,Gloomy Sunday yang diciptakan oleh Rezso Seress.Dalam waktu singkat,lagu tersebut telah menyebabkan lebih dari 100 bunuh diri.







Lagu tersebut dilarang diputar di Hungaria dan negara lainnya.Tetapi,di Amerika Serikat,walaupun menyebabkan korban,pemerintahnya masih memperbolehkan diputar.


Salah satu lagu Gloomy Sunday yang terkenal adalah versi Billie Holiday.Berikut liriknya:
